What should be the dose of Ospamox500 for a child weighing 25kg? The drug was prescribed for boleriosis, unfortunately the prescription was left in the pharmacy. I remember 20 days 6 ml just I don't remember if twice

The daily dose of amoxicillin (the active substance in Ospamox suspension) is between 40 and 90 mg per kilogram of body weight. The daily dose is given in 2 or 3 divided doses:

For a child weighing 25 kg, the daily dose of amoxicillin should be between 1000 mg and 2250 mg. Calculated on a single dose (when used twice a day), this is between 500 mg and 1125 mg of amoxicillin, which gives between 5 ml and 11.25 ml of the finished Ospamox 500 mg/5 ml suspension.

In this case, this means 6 ml 2 x per day. Use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you.
