Good morning
I take the contraceptive pill Atywia Daily. Unfortunately, I lost one pill in 1 cycle and took the second one without thinking. I'm now 3 weeks old and unfortunately at the end of the week I'm missing this one pill. What should I do? Skip the day simply, or start a placebo without thinking? What can I do to ensure that my protection is maintained?

If you have lost your tablet, follow the manufacturer's instructions. Usually, the manufacturer suggests that if a patient loses a tablet, she should take another tablet as soon as possible after noticing the error. So you did the right thing.
In this situation, there are two options for proceeding:
1) You can buy another spare pack of birth control pills and use one extra pill from the new pack.
2) You can also shorten this cycle by one day and take one pill less than usual. In this situation, start a new pack and take one white tablet with the active ingredient every day. After taking the last active tablet, start taking the green placebo tablets. Shortening the cycle by one day will not affect the effectiveness of the tablets. It is important to take them regularly and not to take any breaks.
