Are Pracodin N Tropfen drops tested on us?

I'm 71 years old and have had a horrible cough for 4 days. The nights are the worst. I was given Pracodin N Tropfen on prescription. I read the leaflet and was horrified by the side effects. I'm supposed to take these drops ONLY at night. I didn't. There he writes that if SOMETHING strange happens to me, I should let the institute know. This means that these drops are tested on us!!

Paracodin N Tropfen drops are not available in the UK.
