Is it possible to dispense a substitute in a pharmacy for a drug that has been suspended in Polish?

Good morning. I have a question about the dispensing of substitute medicines. Is it possible to issue a substitute for a drug that has been suspended in Polish in a pharmacy? I've been taking the medication for some time, so it's noted in the chart, it's prescribed in absentia and I'm quite far away and I don't have the opportunity to go to my GP right away to change the prescribed medication to a substitute. Greetings

If a drug has been suspended from circulation as a result of, for example, a quality defect, there are no contraindications to dispensing its substitute (if available) in a pharmacy. We have written about what drug substitutes are here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-sa-zamienniki-lekow
