Can I have vaginal discharge and ovarian pain after taking the pill?
2 days ago I took the pill after (about 26 hours after intercourse) and there is white mucus and sometimes ovarian pain, is this normal? I should ovulate in about 4 days (i.e. 6 days after taking the medicine) but I have irregular periods and I don't know what to expect

After using emergency contraception, vaginal discharge and pain in the lower abdomen/ovary may occur. These are side effects that have been reported with levonorgestrel or uripristal acetate.
The use of emergency contraception can also lead to a delay in menstrual bleeding. If the planned menstrual period is delayed by more than 7 days, pregnancies should be ruled out.
