Hello!
I'm taking the antidepressant pill "Miravil" and I didn't read the Accodin leaflet carefully and took one pill at night. My heart started beating fast, my heart rate probably jumped as well and for a moment I had a strange feeling all over my body, as if everything was thinning me, but this luck was only temporary. Now I feel my legs like cotton wool and I'm a little stimulated. I drink a lot of water because I don't know how I can flush it out.
If I took one pill of accodnu, will I be fine?

Concomitant use of Acodin and Mirvail may lead to both an increase in blood levels of the dextrometrofrance contained in Acodin and an excessive increase in brain serotonin levels. This can lead to an increase in the side effects of dextromethorphan and the symptoms of the so-called serotonin syndrome.
Of course, the danger of taking dextromethorphan (Acodin) once during sertraline (Miravil) treatment cannot be ruled out, but if the intensity of the described symptoms decreases, medical intervention is not necessary.
However, if you experience symptoms such as vomiting, headaches, dizziness, fever, increased blood pressure, seizures, hallucinations or other worrying symptoms, contact your doctor immediately.
