Hello, please tell me. The child is 8 years old, streptococcal infection in the throat, the doctor prescribed ospen 1500 every 8 hours, the child's weight is 33 kg. Isn't the dosage too high?

Consult your doctor again and make sure that the dosage method is correct
According to the manufacturer:
"Children over 6 years of age: 1 to 1.5 million IU per day."
So a dose of 1.5 million IU is a daily dose, not a dose that a child should take every 8 hours.
