Taking the tablets from each pack starts with 24 pink tablets containing the active substances, followed by 4 white placebo tablets. You don't need to take placebo tablets as long as you remember to start a new pack of medication after a 4-day break. The purpose of placebo pills is to get patients into the habit of using the drug.
