Can I do strength training while taking Metex?

Is it possible to do strength training by taking metex 25m/once a week? I will add that I have skin psoriasis.

The active substance in Metex is methotrexate. Methotrexate is a medication used to treat a variety of diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis, and certain autoimmune diseases. One of the side effects of methotrexate may be a weakening of the immune system and an effect on the metabolism of cells, including muscle cells. Before starting any physical activity or training program while taking methotrexate, I would recommend that you consult your doctor or rheumatologist.
