Is it true that Slinda in a person with polyps will only work after a few months?

Good morning I'm taking slinda from the beginning of July for endometrial polyp bleeding. The problem that I always have the cycle not abundant but for 2/3 day a month disappears but returns. I will also have to perform a diagnostic hysteroscopy . My gynaecologist told me to wait because slinda It can take three to four months to take effect. It's true? Thank you
