Some patients taking silodosin may experience a decrease in blood pressure, in rare cases leading to syncope. If you experience symptoms such as dizziness after verticalization of the body, you should sit or lie down until the symptoms disappear. If you have only observed dizziness after you have started treatment, you should discuss the decision to continue it with your doctor.
The use of silodosin is not contraindicated in people who have undergone cataract surgery. However, it is not recommended to initiate treatment in patients who are planning cataract surgery due to the increased risk of complications after surgery in patients using silodosin.
