I started a new Yasminelle pack on the 14th day after the end of the previous package - when will I be 100% protected?

Hello, My interval between Yasminelle packages zamist 7 days was 14 days. I was abroad and my luggage was lost, in which there were tablets. I started a new package right after returning, i.e. on the 14th day from the end of the previous package. When will I be 100% protected?

If the break in the use of hormonal contraception was 14 days, the effectiveness of the preparation is disturbed. In this situation, it is best to wait until menstruation occurs and start using tablets on the 1st day of the cycle (it is also allowed to start packaging on the 2-5th day with the use of additional protection for another week). The information contained in the summary of product characteristics ("adequate inhibition of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis occurs after 7 days of continuous taking of tablets") indicates the need to use additional methods of protection also in the described case. In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleadvice with a gynecologist, available on our website in the e-visit tab: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
