Is it possible that microgynon21 tablets in combination with alcohol cause vomiting? I take the pill at 7 p.m., at 10 p.m. I drank a small amount of alcohol (1beer), and in the morning I vomited. It was the same after a glass of wine. I've never had that before, I don't drink a lot of alcohol, practically not at all. I have been taking pills for about 2months, before I took Vines. Can the problem lie on the side of the tablets or is it another matter? I don't vomit on a daily basis.

In the medical literature, I have not found reports of the effect of Microgynon 21 contraceptive pills on alcohol metabolism. It is possible that in this case vomiting after alcohol is more related to the alcohol itself or other factors, such as the meal that accompanied the consumption of alcohol, than to the contraceptive pills themselves. It is also worth remembering that each body reacts differently to alcohol, and some people may be more sensitive to its effects than others. Please remember, however, that vomiting and other gastric disorders (e.g. diarrhea) are factors that weaken the effectiveness of oral contraception. Then you will need to use an additional method of contraception, e.g. a condom.
