Could it be that the knee pain was caused by shoes?

Is it possible that the knee pain was caused by shoes? I worked for 3 msc walking 12 hours a day on a flat sole, I changed jobs and bought new shoes with a profiled insole, I worked 2msc and my knees hurt to such an extent that it was impossible to bend, walk up the stairs, they were crumbling terribly and I got a lateral patella back, but profiled should help and not worsen?

Theoretically - poorly chosen footwear can cause overloading of the knee joints, but this applies more to high-heeled shoes. The question is whether the insole in your shoes was properly chosen and whether the change of shoes improved the situation. Details of the diagnosis and causes of the disease should be discussed with an orthopedist and physiotherapist, perhaps the problem is more complex and has a wider background. On our website you can order a teleadvice with an orthopedist - the service is available in the e-visit tab: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ortopeda I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jazda-na-nartach-lub-snowboard-jak-zabezpieczyc-kolana
