Good morning! The son is 5 years old and 5 months old, due to the diagnosed early childhood asthma in exacerbations, he takes in the form of inhalation pulmicort with berodual 3xdaily and 1/2tabl contrahist in the evening. I need to have a blood test for myanaemia (antibodies to acetylcholine receptors (AchR)) and I don't know if the above drugs will affect the test result. If so, how much should they be discontinued before the test? Thank you.

I do not find information about the need to discontinue these drugs before the test detecting antibodies to acetylcholine receptors, but the best answer on how to prepare the child for the test will be given by the doctor or facility where the blood test will be performed. Before blood tests, always inform the person responsible for collecting the material and the doctor interpreting the results about all the conditions you have and the medicines you are taking.
