During the treatment with Cipronex I drank alcohol - what now?
19.99 zł

Good morning, In the morning around 10 I took a Cipronex tablet for cystitis. I take it since yesterday 2 times a day. Now at 6 p.m. I forgot that I took the medicine and drank a little Aperol... I know I did stupid, but it completely came out of my head. Should I take another dose at 12 o'clock at night and will something happen to me? I'm very worried...

If the dose of alcohol was small, there is no cause for concern. The effectiveness will be maintained and you should take the next dose of the drug according to the 2x1 scheme. Discontinuation of treatment will result in failure of therapy and immunization of the body and pathogenic bacteria to the treatment, so please do not do so. In the future, remember to avoid alcohol during antibiotic therapy. It is mainly about the liver, which while metabolizing the drug and alcohol is more heavily loaded. At the following link you can study the availability of Cipronex in pharmacies in Polish and make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/17917/cipronex-tabletki-powlekane/apteki I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-z-alkoholem
