Can dietary supplements contain titanium dioxide?

I have a question for the manufacturer of the dietary supplement Esseliv D3 why you serve people in the composition of this preparation carcinogenic titanium oxide banned in the West??? This is how you care about the health of Poles!!!! This is horror in broad daylight. I will never buy this supplement and advise against others. How do you have the courage to reply to my e-mail halina.beben@interia.pl I look forward to it

The manufacturer of the Esseliv D3 dietary supplement is Aflofarm Farmacja Polska Spółka z o.o. Below is an e-mail address for direct contact with the manufacturer: kontakt@aflofarm.pl On the manufacturer's website there is the following composition of the Esseliv D3 dietary supplement: Soy phospholipids (soy and related products), cocoa fat, soybean oil (soy and related products), turmeric extract, cholecalciferol. Capsule ingredients: gelatin, dyes: iron oxides and hydroxides. It does not include titanium dioxide, the current use of which in food production, including food supplements, has been prohibited by Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/63 amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the food additive titanium dioxide (E 171). UE L 11 of 18.10.2022, p. 1). You should be aware that products manufactured before 7 August 2022 may be sold until their expiry date or minimum durability date. Therefore, supplements containing titanium dioxide may still be available on the market and this does not constitute a violation of the law.
