Spamilan is not a rescue medicine. According to the manufacturer: "The drug should be taken every day at the same time, always with or without food." and "The dosage should be adjusted depending on the patient's condition. The recommended starting dose is 5 mg two or three times a day and can be increased every 2-3 days. The recommended dose is 15 to 30 mg per day in divided doses, while the maximum recommended daily dose is 60 mg in divided doses."
