Instead of half a tablet of Escitil I took the whole - whether to reduce the dose of the drug after a few days?

The doctor prescribed me Escitil for the first week at a dose of 5mg (half a tablet) and after a week 1 tablet (10mg). Unfortunately, I can not reach him, and I realized that I was taking what the pharmacist prescribed me on the package, ie 1 tablet a day and not what the doctor wrote on a piece of paper during the visit. After 4 days of taking the full dose, does it make sense to take half a dose now, and after a few days to take the full dose again?

No, please stay using the drug after 1 tablet a day. Dose reduction at this point should not take place. If you notice any side effects with Escitil, please contact your doctor. At the following link you can check the availability of Escitil in stationary pharmacies in the Polish connected to our system: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27592/escitil-tabletki-powlekane/apteki I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/depresja
