Can Nebud-pulmo with ectoine also be used to wash the eyes?

Nebu-Pulmo should not be used with ectoine to wash the eyes. The preparation is used only for nebulization. For washing the eyes, saline solutions of 0.9% concentration (saline) are used, hypertonic solutions, for example, Nebu-Pulmo with ectoine containing a 3% saline solution are not suitable for application to the eyeball. The isotonic solution has the same concentration as the solution with which we compare it, e.g. 0.9% salt with a tear fluid solution. Such a liquid does not irritate the eyeball and is safe.
