Can long-term use of Zolpidem cause oral mycosis?

Good morning or to cure oral mycosis it is enough to take flucofast 150 . And could this mycosis have arisen from the long use of zolpidem, during the use of this drug I noticed that my upper teeth began to fall apart, now these are practically roots, and I'm afraid to go to the dentist, or something else I can use and to cure this tongue and then go to the dentist?

As a pharmacist, I can give you general information about oral ringworm, but it is important that you seek advice from your dentist about dental treatment. Flucofast (fluconazole) is an antifungal medicine used to treat oral ringworm. In this regard, please follow your doctor's instructions. There are many different factors that can contribute to oral mycosis, such as a weakened immune system, antibiotic use, lack of oral hygiene, diabetes, etc. Treatment of oral mycosis is necessary to avoid further deterioration of the teeth. The use of zolpidem (a drug for insomnia) is not a known risk factor for the development of this infection. Studies have noted that long-term use of zolpidem increases the risk of various cardiac complications, including stroke. Particularly vulnerable in this area are people who co-occur with insomnia: cardiological diseases and hypertension, obesity, diabetes and hyperlipidemia. I enclose materials that may be interesting and information about the possibility of using teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/co-zrobic-gdy-czekasz-na-wizyte-u-stomatologa https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/bezsennosc
