What is the effectiveness of hormonal contraception atywia daily after 7 days of placebo tablets? I have been taking atywia daily tablets regularly for a year now. Last week there was 7 days of placebo, on Saturday after these 7 days in the evening I took an active tablet from a new blister. Am I protected just a few hours after taking it? If I had intercourse the next day after taking an active pill and did not use a condom, is the risk of pregnancy increased? Thank you very much for your help.

If you take the tablets regularly, you are protected throughout their use - also when taking placebo tablets or in the first days of using the tablets from the new package. The relationship you mention was secured correctly, the risk of pregnancy is not increased. With properly used tablets (i.e. 1 tablet every day, more or less at the same time of day, 7 days placebo, then a new blister) the risk of a possible pregnancy is less than 1%.
