Can I use Vigantoletten, magnesium, Propranolol, Telfexo with Atywia Daily?
19.99 zł

Good morning. She has been using contraception Atywia daily since 2019. Now I got a drug called Propranolol from a neurologist and I have to take Magnesium B6 and vigantoleten 1000mg. Every day I take the kerabione booster supplement and Telfexo 180mg. Does taking all these drugs affect the effect of contraception? Do I need to take any hourly breaks between medications?

To @Karo:

Aldara and Imikeraderm are equivalent medicines (she contains imiquimod at a concentration of 5%). They are commonly used to treat warts. These drugs have not been approved for vaginal use. What's more, one of the ingredients in Imikeraderm can cause local irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.

If this happens, please consult your doctor immediately. If you notice any side effect (pain and vaginal discharge), you should report it to your doctor, who will decide what to do next.

If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

I use Atywie Daily. I was given the drug Aldara for the vaginal blisters. Unfortunately, it is not available in pharmacies. The lady at the pharmacy gave me a substitute called imikeraderm. I woke up this morning and got vaginal discharge and my vagina hurts. What other medication can I use, even with a prescription? I was once given a prism liquid, but I don't remember the name. Please recommend a medication and answer if any of the medications affect contraception?

For @Karo: There is no need for additional protection in the form of a condom.

Thank you. So I understand that I do not have to mechanically protect myself?

None of the drugs mentioned by you will adversely affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception Atywia Daily, there is no reason to worry. However, I would recommend keeping at least 2-3 hours between individual preparations, so as not to use them all at once.
