Can Duphaston cause cancer?

The doctor prescribed me DUPHASTON because of the polyp of the uterine cavity, in the leaflet I read that it can cause breast, cervical or ovarian cancer. I began to think about taking it.

Such side effects of therapy were observed in patients who underwent estrogen/progestin combination therapy. "All data support an increased risk of breast cancer in women taking HRT in the form of a combination of estrogen and progestogen or estrogen alone, which depends on the duration of HRT. Estrogen-progestin combination therapy: A randomized, placebo-controlled Women's Health Initiative (WHI) trial and a meta-analysis of prospective epidemiological studies agree on an increased risk of breast cancer in women taking the combined estrogen progestogen HRT, which becomes apparent after approximately 3 (1-4) years. The increased risk does not mean, however, that side effects will occur in every patient using the drug. If you use combination therapy, it is worth regularly attending ultrasound examination and breast self-examination. If, despite everything, you have any doubts, you should consult your gynecologist again. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor. here you can use the teleadvice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem I also attach a link to a helpful entry: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-bac-sie-dzialan-niepozadanych-lekow
