Can I stop taking Slinda? Can I start Slinda again later? What are the effects of stopping Slinda?

If I don't need to take Slinda tablets for the next 6 months, can I take a break and stop taking them after I have taken all the tablets in my current blister? And can I start taking them again after a break by following the instructions in the leaflet? What are the side effects of stopping the pills and taking them again?

You can stop taking Slinda at any time. If you are not planning a pregnancy, I encourage you to use an additional method of contraception for at least 1 week before the end of active pills of Slinda. Restarting the use of the drug should be preceded by a consultation with a gynecologist. You can also use the teleadvice offered, m.in by the Gdziepolek.pl portal: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem After you stop taking Slinda, you may experience irregular spotting and bleeding associated with the adaptation of the body. If the medicine was used for therapeutic rather than contraceptive purposes, the symptoms of the underlying disease (such as menstrual disorders) may return. When you start taking the tablets again, you may experience side effects such as breast pain. Any medicine you use can cause side effects, but that doesn't mean that you will experience them. We wrote more about whether to be afraid of side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-bac-sie-dzialan-niepozadanych-lekow On how to use contraception correctly, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
