Hello. As evidenced by low ferritin levels with good results from morphology (platelets slightly reduced), iron is normal. I am pregnant and I am very troubled by fatigue and lack of concentration, can the fact that only ferritin is wrong contribute to such symptoms? Best regards

Low ferritin levels may indicate, for example, reduced levels of proteins associated m.in with malnutrition. It often appears, for example, in intestinal inflammation or in the case of malabsorption syndrome in the intestines. Any further diagnosis should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor. The symptoms of reduced ferritin levels include, m.in, constant fatigue, drowsiness, impaired concentration. If you feel similar symptoms, I encourage you to consult your doctor.
