Should I see a doctor if I have spotting and bleeding while using NuvaRing?

Good morning. I have been using Nuvaring for 3 months (on Monday I will apply the 4th disc), but I have a problem with mid-cycle trimmings. They appear frequently, they are not painful, they are usually brown / black in color, sometimes blood. Currently, spotting has been going on for two weeks. Should I see a doctor or is it normal and it will pass by itself?

At the beginning of hormonal contraception (e.g. NuvaRing), many women experience bleeding disorders such as spotting and intercyclic bleeding. The body needs time to "adapt" to hormonal changes occurring under the influence of hormones - this period usually lasts about 3-4 months. If after this time the symptoms do not disappear, you can go to your gynecologist who will choose another method of contraception for you.
