Can Erdomed be used for sinusitis?

Good morning, the doctor assigned me the drug Erdomed for sinusitis (thick discharge, flowing down the throat, but no cough). And as I read it I do not know if it should not be Erdomed Mimo? Won't Edromed hurt me if I don't have a cough? There is nothing in the leaflet about the sinuses. Best regards

Erdomed and Erdomed Muko preparations contain the same active substance - erdosteine. Due to this, these preparations have the same effect, despite differences in indications for use. The doctor does not always prescribe medication in accordance with the generally accepted indications described in the Summary of Product Characteristics, this procedure is called off-label https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leczenie-off-label-poza-wskazaniami. We wrote more about how wrdosteine works in the treatment of sinusitis here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/12008/erdomed-czy-mozna-zastosowac-erdomed-w-zapaleniu-zatok Through Gdziepolek it is possible to book medicines in a selected pharmacy. I enclose a link to Erdomed: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27509/erdomed-kapsulki/apteki I encourage you to read the helpful materials: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/skuteczne-sposoby-na-zapalenie-zatok https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/zatoki
