Therapeutic constipation in patients with a stoma should be carried out under close medical supervision. The stoma itself is not a contraindication to the use of Rizmoic, however, m.in. due to the risk of gastrointestinal perforation due to the use of this drug, special care should be taken in patients with a tendency to recurrent intestinal obstruction, diverticular disease, gastrointestinal cancers or Crohn's disease). Since the medicinal product is only obtained with a prescription, the prescribing physician decides whether the medicine can be safely used based on the patient's medical history and current state of health. If the use of the drug was prescribed by the attending physician, please strictly follow the recommendations of a specialist.
