The effect of therapy should be expected after 2-4 weeks after each increase in the dose of the drug. According to the manufacturer: "Once an effective dose is reached, a clinical response is usually achieved within two to four weeks. In patients who do not respond to treatment, the dose may be increased to the maximum recommended dose. If there is no clinical response after two to four weeks following these recommendations, treatment should be discontinued. "Because this is a prescription drug, the decision to change the dosage or discontinue the drug should be decided by the doctor.
