Can I use Advantan on a drying foreskin?

The end of the foreskin dries out, about 3mm, can I use Advantan ointment or something else similar (I do not want a scalpel!)

Advantan ointment is intended m.in for the treatment of atopic dermatitis and allergic eczema. It contains methylprednisolone – a glucocorticosteroid that soothes inflammatory and allergic skin reactions. It should not be applied to the genitals without consulting a doctor. Dryness of the foreskin should be consulted with a doctor who can conduct a detailed interview and examination to determine the cause and select the appropriate treatment.
