Taking one tablet of Seronil 20 mg by mistake should not cause dangerous side effects. Seronil, like any medicine, can cause side effects, but not everyone will experience them, and their occurrence is a very individual matter and depends on many factors, m.in the duration of use of the drug. According to the summary of product characteristics, Seronil reaches its maximum plasma concentration within 6-8 hours of its intake. In contrast, its half-life is long and amounts to 4 to 6 days - this means the time during which the substance is gradually eliminated from the body. Therefore, if you have not noticed disturbing symptoms and significant changes in well-being that have not occurred so far, there is no reason to worry. The drug will be gradually excreted from the body. However, please do not underestimate the situation and be careful that there is no mistake again. Seronil belongs to strong antidepressants and can only be used in specific indications. If you experience disturbing changes in well-being, please consult a doctor.
