Please tell me when to take Clatra. The leaflet says: 2 hours after a meal or an hour before a meal. The drug is to be taken in the evening. The key word for me is or... Suppose we take the drug an hour after a meal, when can the next meal occur? Does drinking water or tea in the meantime have any effect?

The active substance of Clatra is bilastin, food reduces its bioavailability by about 30%, so Clatre should be taken at intervals from meals. If Clatra is taken one hour after a meal (this is shorter than recommended), the next meal should be eaten at least one hour after taking the tablet. Drinking water and tea does not affect the effectiveness of Clatra. Remember not to drink the tablets directly with tea.
