Aclexa and Ibum belong to the same group of substances - non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). They differ in the mechanism of action celecoxib (Aclexa) is an inhibitor of the COX-2 enzyme, ibuprofen (Ibum) inhibits COX-1 enzymes and poorly COX-2. In general practice, it is not recommended to use two NSAIDs at the same time. Due to the doubtful achievement of greater therapeutic efficacy, and an increase in the risk of side effects. Based on the patient's state of health, treatment history and experience, the doctor can make a decision that may not always be in line with general recommendations. Therefore, if you have doubts about the use of two painkillers, it is best to consult the doctor ordering their intake.
