Can the prolongation of withdrawal bleeding be the fault of a defective anti-contraceptive disc?
I have been using the Ginoring contraceptive ring for over a year. It was always removed on Wednesdays, I got my period on Saturday. This was also the case here, but when the ring was inserted after a 7-day break, the bleeding was prolonged more than usual. Could it be the fault of a faulty ring?

Withdrawal bleeding can vary in duration and is usually not a cause for concern. It also does not have to prove the defectiveness of the new contraceptive disc.
