The half-life of trazodone in the prolonged-release form (e.g. as Trittico XR) ranges from approximately 10 to approximately 13 hours. This means that after about 50-65 hours (about 2-3 days) clinically insignificant drug residues remain in the body. After this time, the consumed preparations do not show interaction with the previously used drug.
