The use of drugs such as Tranxene or Xanax should take place under the strict supervision of the doctor and for a specified period of time. Both drugs have different active ingredients, but the same mechanism of action - these are benzodiazepines. They have the potential to cause addiction with prolonged use and a tendency to tolerance, i.e. a decrease in potency over time. Since Tranxene has stopped helping you and you no longer use it temporarily, but every day, in my opinion, the solution is not to reach for another drug that works the same - especially in a short period of time - but to contact a doctor, preferably a psychiatrist.
