What to use for dry mouth in a person with Alzheimer's?

My mother is sick with alkhaimer and constantly has a dry mouth, there are days when there is no saliva at all, what to do? All the time mlaska and licks please help how can I help her. I would add that it is not from medication, because it does not happen every day.
