Can I use Acard for stomach metaplasia?

Hello. I have chronic gastritis with metaplasia and atrophy. There was also a problem with elevated platelets. The hematologist recommended taking acard. Won't this medicine make my stomach worse? I've been struggling with this for several months and I'm very afraid of the pain coming back.

Gastric metaplasia is a condition in which the cells of the stomach epithelium change into cells of another type that are more similar to cells of the small intestine. The goal of treating gastric metaplasia is to control a possible underlying disease, such as gastritis or Helicobacter pylori infection. Regarding the use of Acard, there may be a risk of damage to the gastric mucosa, especially with prolonged use or with already existing stomach problems. The decision to use Acard in the case of gastric metaplasia should be made by the doctor on the basis of an individual assessment of the patient, and I would recommend such a procedure in this case.
