Hello, from Monday I take antibiotics, because I have strep throat, the doctor told me to sit at home until Friday and isolate myself. How long have I been infecting angina? Because everywhere he writes that 24 hours after the first dose of antibiotic is no longer infected. On Saturday we have 80 grandmothers and I have a big dilemma whether to go or not, so as not to expose someone to the disease unnecessarily.

In the case of bacterial angina, the patient infects before the administration of antibiotics and for the first 24 hours of effective antibiotic therapy. The recommendation to isolate may result, m.in from a significant weakening of your body, ongoing infection and increased risk of developing other diseases, e.g. viral. More about how to identify and treat angina, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-rozpoznac-i-leczyc-angine
I would add that the antibiotic is ospen
