I have been taking trisequens for 2 years I have always had my period regularly, but now after finishing the next package the period has not occurred. Does it make sense to continue using this drug or switch already to Kliogest. Let me add that I am 52 years old.

Trisequens and Kliogest are hormone replacement therapy (THZ) hormone drugs in menopausal women. Both drugs contain estrogen and norethisterone, in the same proportions, so they are their replacements. Both drugs replace naturally occurring female hormones in the female body, whose levels drop during menopause. If there was no period after finishing the next pack of Trisequens, it is worth consulting a doctor to rule out other causes, such as pregnancy or hormonal disorders. If the doctor confirms that the reason for the absence of the period is the approaching menopause, then you can continue using Trisequens. In any case, before changing the drug, you should consult a doctor who, based on the patient's examination and analysis of laboratory test results, will select the appropriate therapy. The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with a doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja I enclose a link to a page where you can check the availability of the drug in pharmacies in Poland and book the drug in a selected pharmacy: Trisequens: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/79997/trisequens-tabletki-powlekane/apteki Kliogest: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/40332/kliogest-tabletki-powlekane/apteki
