Good morning. The doctor prescribed me Duomox and Dicortineff (for 5 days) for chronic sinusitis. I do not have a runny nose, nose is unobstructed. The only symptom is a severe headache. Can I use Pronosal after Dicortineff instillation? A year ago I also took Duomox and Pronasal (for 3 months) instead of Dicortineff. Thank you.

If you have already finished therapy with Dicortineff and Duomox, then in principle there should be no contraindications to the use of Pronasal, as long as there are no contraindications to the use of nasal corticosteroids, i.e. there is an untreated nasal infection, the patient has undergone surgery in the nasal area, or there are nose injuries: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/106102/pronasal-control-aerozol/apteki Dicortineff is a combination medicine containing anti-infectives (gramicidin and neomycin) and a corticosteroid (fludrocortisone). It is used topically to treat bacterial infections of the eyes and/or ears, with concomitant inflammation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/23521/dicortineff-zawiesina-do-oczu-i-uszu/apteki If you are concerned about the effect of the drug or the accuracy of its selection, it is best to talk to your doctor about it. It is difficult to assess this without knowing your medical records. If you are unable to get to your doctor, the GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with a doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja The action and composition of individual drugs can be checked by clicking on the attached links on the gdziepolek.pl website, which also allows you to book them at the selected pharmacy.
