Is it a normal reaction when taking Nexpram that I feel very bad - I have nausea, terrible fear, palpitations?

Good morningI started taking nexpram. 1/2 tablet( 10mg). After 10 days I have to increase to 1. Because I was already in very bad shape at the doctor, I also got alprox 2x 0.5. (for the first days of taking an antidepressant) Despite this, he feels very bad - nausea, terrible fear, palpitations. I'm afraid not to become addicted to alprox. And without him, I don't think I would have been able to survive. Is this a normal reaction?

First of all, I would like to stress that the treatment of depression should take place under medical supervision. An outsider on the basis of such a short description will not replace consultation with him. I will try to give you general information. This is a normal reaction at the beginning of therapy. Side effects most often occur in the first or second week of treatment, and their severity and frequency decrease with continued treatment. The antidepressant effect of Nexpram usually develops after 2-4 weeks. but it is recommended to use antidepressants for a minimum of half a year to a year, while people with relapses of depression take medication for many years. Increasing the dose of the drug may also lead to an increase in side effects, including deterioration of the mental state. Therefore, it is important to consult your doctor. The use of Alprox may cause physical and psychological dependence. The likelihood of developing addiction applies especially to those people who are prone to abuse pharmacological agents or alcohol and is the higher the higher the doses and the longer the duration of treatment. If you are concerned about the effect of the drug(s) or the accuracy of their selection, it is best to talk to your doctor about it. If you are unable to get to your primary care doctor, the GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to obtain a teleconsultation with a doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-psychiatra The GdziePoLek.pl service also allows you to book the drug in the nearest stationary pharmacy and collect it upon presentation of the prescription: Alprox: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/3908/alprox-tabletki/apteki?pvid=122048#stacjonarne Nexpram: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/53205/nexpram-tabletki-powlekane/apteki?pvid=191211#stacjonarne
