Good morning. A child aged 8 and 7msc weighing 46kg was given the antibiotic cetix 400mg, for ear pain and effusion and sinusitis. On the leaflet it is written that it should not be given to a child under 12 years of age. Can I give medicine to a child? Best regards

The decision to start the treatment was made by the doctor on the basis of his own knowledge and professional experience. It happens that doctors prescribe treatment, which may be inconsistent with the description in the leaflet of the drug. Any doubts should then be discussed during the visit and strictly follow the instructions. If you have any concerns, I suggest you see your doctor again. On our website you can check the prices and availability of the drug and place an order at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/84653/cetix-tabletki-powlekane/apteki I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/zapalenie-ucha-jak-leczyc-i-zapobiegac
