Could Kontracept have caused an clot?

Hello, could the drug contracept have caused a rectal clot? Literally a week and a half after taking contraception, I went to the proctologist, who did not say anything specific about the connection with the blood clot, but it appeared just during the taking and I had surgery to remove it. Could this happen again? I'd rather not.

The cause of thrombosis is usually untreated hemorrhoidal disease. Hemorrhoids, or varicose veins of the anus, are often found in people suffering from constipation, overweight, leading a sedentary lifestyle. It is difficult to assess the unequivocal link between the occurrence of this problem and the start of hormonal contraception. You would have to go to the doctor and have tests to assess the changes in the blood picture - and this seems to me to be the right solution. In case of any doubts, you can use the paid teleadvice with the doctor, available in the e-visit tab: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/antykoncepcja-a-zakrzepica-jakie-jest-ryzyko https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leki-na-hemoroidy
