Can I use HRT at the age of 71?

I am 71 years old. I have been using Femoston Conti for 20 years. Previously, I took about 2 years of cyclo menorette. I feel good. I get tested regularly. I'm afraid to stop taking hormones because all my friends who did it aged very quickly. Can I continue to use HRT?

Whether HRT is safe in a given case and the benefits of its use outweigh the risks should be decided by a gynaecologist who is thoroughly acquainted with your state of health. We do not have enough information about your treatment and health condition to help and clearly determine the appropriate pattern of conduct. It is usually recommended to move away from hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in women over 60 years of age. I enclose helpful materials: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/htz-hormonalna-terapia-zastepcza-w-menopauzie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/hormonalna-terapia-zastepcza-htz On our portal you can use teleconsultation with a gynecologist: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem
