Can H.pyroli be re-infected?

4 years ago in gastroscopy a positive trauma test. Treatment with Pyrela is effective confirmed by a fecal test and control gastroscopy after a year. Currently, during gastroscopy, a positive trauma test is again. Why, another infection or not effective treatment? What treatment regimen should be used now? Is treatment necessary ( stomach cancer in the immediate family, autoimmune gastritis)

H.pyroli infection may recur. Studies show that the annual average recurrence rate in developed countries is about 3%. The cause of re-infection can be both eradication failures and the possibility of re-infection. Factors causing relapse include, m.in a false negative review after treatment or the occurrence of a small number of dormant or unkilled bacteria. Whether repeated treatment is necessary and the treatment regimen for H.pyroli infection is decided by the doctor based on the results of the tests, the patient's medical history and health. I enclose materials that may be useful and information about the possibility of using teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/leki-na-helicobacter-pylori https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
