Both Tranxene and Afobam belong to the same group of Benzodiazepines. They are not equivalents, but they work similarly (anxiolytic, sedative, hypnotic, anticonvulsant). However, they differ in the time of action: Afobam is Alprazolam, i.e. medium-long-acting benzodiazepines, Tranxene is Clorazepan - long-acting. The choice of the right drug should be decided by the doctor taking into account the current state of your health.
