Will constipation after paroxetine pass? When to stop taking the drug?
Will constipation after paroxetine pass? I have been taking 10mg of paroxetine since March 8 and have been suffering from painful constipation ever since. Will this side effect pass? How much more time is needed? Is it worth waiting or asking your doctor to change your medication? I'm trying to balance this diet, but so far it doesn't do much.

Constipation after paroxetine is a common side effect. It is possible that as the treatment progresses, they will disappear, but they can last up to several weeks. Diet is the basic form of constipation prevention - you should take care of the correct amount of fluid and fiber during the day, limit constipating foods and regular physical activity.
