Nausea and vomiting may accompany, m.in, food poisoning, motion sickness, infection, pregnancy or be a side effect of the use of medicines, e.g. anticancer. In the pharmacy without a prescription you can buy, for example, lozenges, syrups or drops based on ginger or antiemetic tablets containing dimenhydrinate. If these preparations do not bring the expected results, the doctor may decide to include strong antiemetic drugs in tablets or injection, e.g. with metoclopramide or promethazine.
